Perfect Wolfgang Guitar

November 28th, 2009 by admin

Caleb and I have been friends forever. We grew up in the same neighbourhood, went to the same school, had the same friends, and shared a love for music. When we were both 12 years old, we decided we would start a band. I played a wolfgang guitar, and Caleb played a Fender P Bass. Our friend Dan played drums, or at least tried to play drums. Though our band wasn’t any good, we certainly did have a lot of fun. Those really were the best days of our lives. i still have my nice guitar, and I often think about the good old days.

Share The Wisdom of The Blues Guitar

November 27th, 2009 by admin

Learning how to play the blues was something that I always wanted to do, but never thought that I could do it.  There have been so many times in my life where I wanted to go after something, but fear kept me from doing it.  Being older I have learned the hard way what it means to fail at things.  However, I have also learned to never give up on your dreams.  Playing the blues guitar was something that I always wanted to do.  Now that I can play I am doing everything I can to teach other around me.

Son Can’t Play a Peanut Buttered Guitar

November 14th, 2009 by admin

Oh goodness, another tragedy in our household.  Our toddler wiped peanut butter all over my oldest son’s guitar.  Let me blunt, it wasn’t a pretty sight.  I have to give him credit, my oldest took it very well. Maybe because he knows I’ll feel guilty and he’ll end up with a new guitar.  While I probably won’t be able to afford a new one, I did go browse some used guitar websites to see about prices of replacing the one he had.  It’s doable. So, when I get paid next week, I’m sure I’ll cough up the money to get him a new one.

The Bodhran Drum

November 8th, 2009 by admin

I love the bodhran drum. It is the drum used to play Irish music. I did not know that there are so many different drums, and they all produce a sound of their own. The bodhran has a deep sound, and I am amazed with how the guy played it. He was able to shift from classical to contemporary music. I like listening to music, but I have never really appreciated the different instruments that produce great melodies. My friends and I had a wonderful time. We definitely want to see more drums in the future and be able to hear the different beats it can produce.

A Concert To Remember

November 6th, 2009 by admin

My cousin and I just got back from the most amazing concert experience.  We were given tickets to see Taylor Swift and concert backstage passes.  The concert itself was awesome.  Taylor is so genuine and truly a gifted artist.  Her concert was full of awesome stage effects and had us dancing in the aisle most of the night.  As fun as this was, the best was yet to come.  When we went backstage we got to meet Taylor and see how down to earth she really is.  Her band was fantastic and it was great hanging out with them as well.  This night is one we will never forget.

If you want to appreciate Broadway music, it is best to know how this genre came to its being. If you search around the web you will find that broadway musicals history would let you go back to the seat of Broadway music which is New York. Broadway music was introduced to Europe by bringing their Broadway artists to perform there, with Edwin Forrest as the first performer. His performance had great following at first before it started to lose popularity because of a disagreement he had with a British artist. From then on and up until today, Broadway music has become more and more popular because there are many great talents who bring Broadway music into greater heights.

Listen to the Rhythm of Drum Beats

October 22nd, 2009 by admin

From Africa to Japan and even to the farthest islands on Earth. You can see folk drums in their culture. Drums are really common among different cultures and I am glad that they are wide spread. Our western modern drum is a descendant of old primitive drums. It is just our music that evolves much in a way along with our modern drum set.

To those people in the FarEast their drums are as big as our fridge. They are really that big and the sound is like a roaring bang. There are many kinds of drums but if you wanted to be a star someday learn playing drums by watching the techniques first on a best drumming dvd.

For the Non-traditional Wedding Try a Reportage Wedding Photographer

October 7th, 2009 by admin

There are a couple of styles of photography done for weddings. One is traditional wedding photography and the other is reportage wedding photography. In the ideal situation it is good to have both. A reportage wedding photographer captures the moments of the wedding event as an artist of the lens. Photos are captured as private moments that most people are unaware are being captured. Traditional photos are the usual posed shots. Both types of photography are usually taken at a wedding and more so by the same photographer. This satisfies the wedding party as well as the couple. It is recommended highly to use both.

Ares Is Easy To Use

September 24th, 2009 by admin

The problem with a lot of the websites that say their website is easy to use is that normally it is easy to use, but then how do I use what I have after I close the website. In particular, I am new to recording music off the Internet and I recently found the ares website and I would like to give it a try because I like the idea that I will have help even after I have done what I need to do to download the music. My problem usually comes after the music is downloaded and I need to get it on a different music player.
