The name evokes a darkened feeling. Movies, books, stories, and countless sermons have told the tale, but few realize that Lucifer was anointed. The word anointed means Christ. When we think of Jesus Christ we assume that Christ was Jesus’ last name, but this is not the case. Rather His name should be understood as Christ Jesus, or Jesus the anointed.

So Lucifer, at one time was Christed or anointed. What than does anointed mean? The word should be understood as enlightened and empowered. 

Lucifer was the anointed Cheribim angel that was the enlightened and empowered angel who served loyally as an ambassador of I AM.
